1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduation I spent most of my time managing restaurants
operations; this included everything from people development, process
improvement, HR, and ensuring overall financial success. While working
full-time, I went on to earn my MBA from Northwood University. After
starting a family, I pivoted from operations into an HR Generalist
role where I work as a liaison for all things HR for the people I
serve. I am so thankful for this crazy journey as it has brought me
back home to GVSU. #Laker4ALifetime
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
My favorite memory is attending chapter meetings every Sunday
with my Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority sisters.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Keep learning whether it be through additional schooling or
reading books; development is not always something given to you but
rather something you can push yourself to do with the resources you
have available.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Friendship, Supportive, Life-changing
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I strive to be a servant leader and mentor to others. I would not
be the person I am today without those that mentored me from GV and
throughout my career and I want to pay it forward to others!
