1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduating from GVSU, I earned a Master of Arts degree in
Higher Education Administration from Ball State University and a
Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
I met the woman who is now my wife during my first year at GVSU.
My favorite memory is proposing to her in the arboretum during our
final year.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
You grow through what you go through.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Transformative. Love. Home.
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I hope to make a difference in educational access and outcomes
from pre-k through post-secondary endeavors, particularly for students
from underrepresented backgrounds.
