Prepare for your future by attending the Career Fair Prep Event, hosted by the GVSU Career Center!
What is the Career Fair Prep Event? A "drop-in" style event designed to prepare students for career and professional success.
When is the Career Fair Prep Event? This two-day event is designed to accommodate students at both GVSU campuses. Day 1: Monday, 2/17/20, DeVos C (Student Lobby Area) Pew Campus* Day 2: Thursday, 2/20/20, 200 STU (Career Center) Allendale Campus*
*Drop in anytime between 11am-2pm.
What should I expect if I attend this event? Stop by either day (or both days) of this two- day event to receive: networking tips, resume and cover letter reviews (feel free to bring a printed or electronic copy), information on the upcoming Career Fair and other career-related events. Be camera ready-FREE professional headshots will be available (for those who are interested) and are great for LinkedIn & Handshake profiles! You will also learn about the importance of properly "following up" after an interview or networking event.
What if I was not planning on attending Career Fair? That's okay! Drop by anyway, we would love to chat with you and share some of the many resources the GVSU Career Center has to offer!
