Write Your College Essay is a virtual workshop for high school students applying to college in the fall. The workshop includes 10 hours of group and individualized instruction and feedback. Each student will finish the workshop with a completed Common App essay that will be ready to apply to colleges. The workshop will be facilitated through Google Classroom and Zoom video calls. Students will have to do work outside of designated class times to get the most from the sessions.
The live workshop sessions are scheduled for: July 26, July 28, August 2, August 4, and August 9, 2021 (all sessions are 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET)
To participate in the workshop, students must have access to a reliable device and a consistent, high-speed internet connection for Zoom video sessions and a personal Gmail account to utilize Google Classroom.
