CANCELED: This event has been canceled in accordance with GVSU's policy to protect against COVID-19.

Edward P. Gibson is an attorney and internationally recognized expert in cybersecurity, compliance, white-collar crime, risk management, and “commercially disruptive actions or products” of all kinds. With degrees and certificates from Grand Valley State University, the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, American University, and Oxford University, Mr. Gibson has worked for and with the FBI, Amway, Microsoft, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and other organizations as the proverbial “company confidant.”

Mr. Gibson will share what he knows about how your personal information is accessed and used—and offer some advice on how to protect yourself during a job search. He’ll also draw on his vast business and government experience to offer general advice about mounting a successful job search in any field. The talk will take place in the Chamberlain Multipurpose Room in the Niemeyer Learning & Living Center.
