BMS Graduates of Distinction - Call for nominations

The BMS awards and scholarship task force is seeking nominations for BMS Graduates of Distinction. Students can be nominated by a GVSU student or BMS faculty. The criteria for the BMS Graduate of Distinction are as follows:
- Any student with at least a 3.5 GPA will be considered
- The student must be sponsored by a faculty member. Faculty members may sponsor multiple students, and students may request that a faculty member sponsor them.
- The student must provide his/her résumé and a supporting letter detailing his/her career at Grand Valley State University, including academic work, volunteer work, leadership, and immediate career goals (medical school, graduate school, etc.) to Prof. Debbie Lown [email protected], by March 1st.
The students who receive this award will be honored at the end of the semester at a small reception where they will receive a red and white cord to be worn at graduation.
