Find out more about the Fund

Battle of the Valleys (BOV) is more than a football game, it's an annual charity competition between Grand Valley and Saginaw Valley State University. This week long fundraiser is planned by many student organizations known as the BOV Team. Fundraising for Battle of the Valleys starts on September 24 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on September 29.

The money raised goes to the Laker Children's Fund. This fund is primarily coordinated by students and awards mini grants of up to $5,000 to organizations that specialize in childhood growth and well-being in the Kent and Ottawa county communities.
