Alumni Eric Schwab Saves Athlete's Life

Eric Schwab graduated from GVSU undergraduate Athletic Training Program in 2013.  Upon graduating from GVSU, he obtained his master’s degree in kinesiology and sport studies at East Tennessee State University.  He spent time working in South Carolina at in South Florence High School. In 2019, he joined Henry Ford Health Systems as the Athletic Trainer for Detroit-Jesuit High School.  After four months on the job Eric is being credited with performing life-saving CPR on a high school hockey player two days after Christmas at a Hazel Park ice arena!  For the full article please go to https://www.henryford.com/news/2020/02/athletic-trainer-honored-for-lifesaving-cpr?utm_campaign=media-master&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_content=sports-medicine&utm_term=post-feb-athletic-trainer-honored-for-livesaving-cpr.
