Description
Asian Authors/Themes Reception (LIB 100/ 201 approved)
This reception is a platform to recognize and honor the publications and creative works of GVSU Asian faculty and staff, as well as publications of Asian related topics and themes. Authors will discuss how scholarship relating to Asian and Asian American communities in the United States and abroad. Participants will strengthen their understanding of how Asian and Asian American communities engender social change and employ cultural competency to strengthen community ties. The books and/or scholarly materials will be on display.
