GVSUALERT! WEATHER - All GVSU campuses will be closed Tuesday and
Wednesday, January 29 and 30.
Sometimes we react negatively to the winter because the days are
shorter, it is dark and cold. However, winter can also be a time to
turn inward and find creative spaces to process, learn, and grow.
Join us for our winter warm up as we look at art mindfully and with intention followed by a facilitated conversation.
Looking with Intent is facilitated by:
- Stacey Burns, Art Gallery Programs Manager
- Elisa Salazar, GVSU HR Work Life Consultant
- Heather Wallace, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Master of Public Health program
We'll be exploring the artworks in the exhibition, "Reflect – Revive – Reshape" featuring the work of:
- Brett Colley, Associate Professor of Drawing, Printmaking and Foundations
- Dellas Henke, Professor of Printmaking
- Hoon Lee, Associate Professor of Ceramics
- Anthony Thompson, Professor of Photography
- Department of Visual and Media Arts
