Description
Celebrate the opening of ArtPrize with Grand Valley State University!
Join the celebration at Rosa Parks Circle with the Laker Marching
Band, GVSU Dance Company and the WGVU/PBS Nerd Walk. Led by President
Thomas J. Haas and Louie the Laker, the music and dance will begin at
6:30 PM. The band and the WGVU/PBS Nerd Walk will proceed to the L.V.
Eberhard Center, home of WGVU and the GVSU ArtPrize
venue installation, River Tattoo, by Jim Cogswell, Professor
Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan.
A special welcome from ArtPrize Executive Director, Christian
Gaines, will be given just prior to the band playing.
