Description
Art is everywhere on Grand Valley's campuses providing
abundant opportunities across academic disciplines to teach and learn
with original works of art. Anecdotal evidence suggests that
curricular encounters with art are most effective when museum staff
and faculty are equally invested in planning and conducting these
experiences. This workshop will provide instructors from any
discipline with staff support, methods, and innovative tools to use in
integrating the art collection into their teaching. Join us for this
inaugural event at the Art Gallery’s new collections storage facility
and engagement lab in the GVSU Innovation Design Center.
Registration is open to faculty and staff.
