Coming up on Nov 11!  Medieval Ireland

Join us for a fascinating discussion of fieldwork in Ireland!

Pamela Crabtree, Professor of Anthropology at New York University, will be speaking with us about mysterious Iron Age / Early Medieval Ireland. Cutting-edge work at Dún Ailinne, in County Kildare, illuminates life at one of the large hilltop enclosures known as "royal" places of feasting and other ritual activities. Don't miss "Ireland before the Saints and Scholars: Excavations at the Iron Age Site of Dún Ailinne"!   This lecture is sponsored by the Archaeological Institute of America, Central/West Michigan chapter.
