Description

Join us for this fascinating discussion of the Archaeology of Cheese!

Have you ever wondered why or how cheese was invented in the first place?   Find out!   On Wednesday, April 6, Dr. Peter Bogucki (Princeton University) will discuss his ground-breaking research in this area.  We'll talk about the discovery of the earliest evidence for the making of cheese, including ceramic sieves, the more recent identification of milk lipids in them by chemists at the University of Bristol, and the implications for our understanding of European prehistory.  It's a great story of innovation and discovery.  Join us for a gouda time!
