He was 89. This year&#39\;s theme will be announced in the Fall Semester\, and the registration process to participate in SSD will open early in Winter Semester 2027. Keep an eye on this page and on your email inbox for more information as it becomes available.\n\n\n\nStudent Scholars Day (SSD) celebrates scholarship\, research\, and creative work performed by GVSU students. Beginning as a single-day research symposium almost 30 years ago\, SSD evolved into a multi-day event that celebrates the scholarly process and showcases faculty-mentored student work. Student presentations will be on Wednesday\, April 14\, 2027.
