Alumni Speakers Bureau
Our alumni have amazing stories to tell and great advice to pass along to current students. Examples of how alumni speakers may be utilized include:
- Visiting a classroom (virtually or in-person) to share your career experience or expertise on a particular topic.
- Speaking on a panel in a classroom or at a campus event.
- Engaging with students one-on-one or in small groups through flash mentoring, speed networking, or other special events.
If you are interested in speaking with students on campus or virtually, complete the volunteer interest form below. Alumni Relations will keep your info on file and share it with relevant campus departments.

Identifying Alumni Speakers
If you would like to be notified of alumni interested in speaking, or need help identifying an alumni speaker, please email [email protected].
Gifts for Alumni Speakers
Alumni Relations can provide a gift for your alumni guest speaker. It can be provided to you in advance to give to them, or mailed directly to the speaker. If you would like a gift for an alumni speaker, please complete the Alumni Speaker Gift Request Form. Sharing alumni guest speaker information with the Alumni Relations office allows Grand Valley to properly track and thank all volunteers and demonstrate the impact alumni have on our students.
