LAKERS TOGETHER: Grand Valley is preparing for successful learning experiences when classes resume on Aug. 31. Learn more about the plan for fall in this handbook.
Our alumni have amazing stories to tell and great advice to pass along to current students. Through events, classroom visits, and more alumni can volunteer their time as a speaker. These opportunities can be in-person or virtual and may be organized by a specific department or program or by Alumni Relations. If you are interested in volunteering as a guest speaker, you can complete the Volunteer Interest Form below. We will keep your name on file for one year. Alumni Relations draws on this list as needed and also shares names with staff and faculty members if they make a request.
Visit a classroom (in-person or virtually) to share your career experience or expertise in a particular subject.
Alumni panels are featured at many events on campus to give students a broad range of perspectives on a topic.
These events give students an opportunity to talk with several alumni in a short period of time to gain valuable advice and build their professional network.
A free social event for students to network, ask questions, and get advice from Grand Valley alumni. Alumni and students are seated together based on common interests, aspirations, and involvement.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! After completing this form, we will add your name and interest to our database. Your interest will be kept on file for one year. During that time, we will reach out to you with opportunities, based on your interest, as they arise.
