What do you like most about teaching at Grand Valley?
I love the students. I think we have great students who are really passionate about learning. I feel very privileged to be here to work with these students.

What is your favorite class to teach?
They're all very special to me in some manner, shape, or form. No two classes are ever the same. Each class will have it's own uniqueness or it's own particular personality.

What do students like best about your class?
The feedback that I've gotten from students is that they love the fact that I'm passionate, that I'm energetic, and that I'm very engaging.

How do you contribute to the success of your students?
My role is to nurture them and to get them to build on their talents, to identify whatever skills and talents they may have and to try and enhance those skills.

What advice would you give to prospective students?
This is a great institution. It's a wonderful place to come and study. What's wonderful about GVSU is that we have a small faculty/student ratio.

What is the most rewarding aspect about teaching at Grand Valley?
The most rewarding thing is getting a note from a student at the end of the semester that says, "Thank you, professor Buckridge. I enjoyed your class."
