I chose Grand Valley because it offers a great education for an affordable price. It also offers many resources for international students.

How did Grand Valley aid you throughout your enrollment process?
They help you a lot through email.

What do you like best about Grand Valley?
The many resources that they offer: the writing center, the tutoring center, the career center, the counseling center. I really like the support and I think all of these resources ensure the learning experience of the students and their success.

How has the Padnos International Center assisted you in adjusting to life in the United States?
When we first come in they do an international orientation. They teach us about all the differences of American universities compared to our universities back home.

How has Grand Valley's faculty made a difference in your college experience?
The professors are really helpful here. They don't make you feel embarrassed of asking questions. If you're not sure you know something, you just ask and they are willing to help.

How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
Liberal education gives you a general knowledge of the world and this is necessary in our globalized society.

What advice would you give to prospective international students?
They should definitely come here. Grand Valley is a great university; it has great resources.
