CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Students in clinical laboratory sciences may choose from three areas of specialty: cytotechnology, histotechnology, and medical technology. Within these specialties, students may choose either the "3+1" plan or the "4+1" plan. In the "3+1" plan, students take the clinical practicum (30 semester hours) during their senior year. In the "4+1" plan, the clinical practicum is post-baccalaureate.
