  • Degree offered: B.A., B.S. Students seeking the B.A. degree must demonstrate third-semester proficiency in a foreign language. Students seeking the B.S. degree should take MTH 131.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The majors in social studies are designed for students seeking teacher certification in secondary school social studies or elementary education. Each student will choose an area of concentration from among one of the following disciplines: economics, geography, history, or political science.
