  • Degree offered: B.S., B.A. Students seeking a B.A. degree must demonstrate third semester proficiency in a foreign language.
  • This guide assumes a prior math background.
  • Accreditation: Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society.
  • MAT 225 is only required for the professional chemistry emphasis.
  • Students interested in the professional chemistry emphasis should take PHY 211 + PHY 212.  All other emphasis areas should take PHY 105 + PHY 106.
  • This guide fulfills the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA).  Social science electives must be selected from different disciplines.  Humanities electives must be selected from different disciplines.  Please check with your community college advisor for additional associate degree requirements.  GVSU will still honor the MACRAO agreement.
