  • Degree offered: B.A., B.S., B.F.A.. Students seeking a B.A. degree must demonstrate third semester proficiency in a foreign language. Students seeking the B.S. degree must take MATH 140.
  • Students are encouraged to transfer after one year of basic courses.
  • Students interested in K-12 teacher certification should take PSY 131 and PSY 152 as social science electives.
  • Transfer students interested in pursuing a program within the Department of Art & Design must apply for and attend a portfolio review session to determine acceptance into the program and, if accepted, determine which studio courses may receive specific credit.  For more details on the application process to the Department of Art & Design please see www.gvsu.edu/art

  • This guide fulfills the Michigan Transfer agreement (MTA).
