  • Students are encouraged to transfer after one year of basic courses.
  • Degrees offered: B.F.A., B.A., B.S. Students seeking the B.A. degree must demonstrate third semester proficiency in a foreign language. Students seeking the B.S. degree should take MTH 120 and CIS 115.
  • Accreditation: National Association of Schools of Art and Design
  • This guide fulfills the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA).  Humanities elective must be a non-ART course.  Social science electives must be selected from different disciplines.  Science electives must be selected from different disciplines.  Please check with your community college advisor for additional associate degree requirements.  GVSU will still honor the MACRAO agreement.

  • Students interested in K-12 teacher certification should take PSY 180 and PSY 210 as social science electives.
