  • Degree offered: B.S., B.A. Students seeking a B.A. degree must demonstrate third semester proficiency in a foreign language.  Students seeking the B.S. degree should take MATH 220.
  • This guide fulfills the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA).  Social science elective must be a non-HRY course.  Science electives must be selected from different disciplines.  Humanities electives must be selected from different disciplines.  Please check with your community college advisor for additional associate degree requirements.
  • Students should choose 3 HRY foundation elective courses from:  HRY 100, 101, 102, 103 207
  • Students should consider transferring after one year.

History majors enjoy a high rate of employment in a wide variety of careers, including politics, law, business, journalism, foreign and civil service, education, and private research.
