NOTES:

  • Students in clinical laboratory sciences may choose from three areas of specialty: cytotechnology, histotechnology, and medical technology. Within these specialties, students may choose either the 3+1 or the 4+1 plan. In the 3+1 plan, students take the clinical practicum (30 semester hours) during their senior year. In the 4+1 plan, the clinical practicum is post-baccalaureate.
  • This guide fulfills the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA).  Social science electives must be selected from different disciplines.  Humanities elecives must be selected from different disciplines.  Please check with your community college advisor for additional associate degree requirements.  GVSU will still honor the MACRAO agreement.
