Admitted Students Checklist
This page is designed to let you know the steps you will need to complete for housing, orientation, and getting started at Grand Valley.
SCHEDULE CAMPUS VISIT. If you have not visited before, Grand Valley offers many opportunities for students and their families to learn about the campus. You can set up an individual appointment or attend an admissions small group presentation and tour.
APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID between January 1 and the priority deadline of March 1. For further information, please go to the Financial Aid website. Also, don't forget the deadline for admissions scholarships is December 31. Any updated ACT/SAT scores or High School transcripts will need to be in by this date to qualify for admissions scholarships.
APPLY FOR CAMPUS HOUSING and submit a $150 deposit by May 1. Students who have met the deadline are guaranteed housing on campus.
SIGN UP FOR FRESHMEN ORIENTATION by May 1. To secure your place in our freshmen class, admitted students must sign up for an orientation date by May 1. Students who meet this deadline are guaranteed a place in our freshman class.
MAKE TUITION PAYMENT. You will receive information in the mail regarding your tuition bill.
