Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
A large part of the reason I chose to attend Grand Valley was the size. I really liked the closer community that Grand Valley offered. I like that when I walk around campus I can see people I know or that my professors know me by name.
What do you like best about Grand Valley?
One of my favorite things about Grand Valley is the close community that it offers. I've been really involved on campus as a resident assistant, a student senator, and many other things.
How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
The liberal education has really taught me more about society. It's really opened me up to a lot more variety in perspectives and beliefs that I don't think I would have experienced otherwise.
How will Grand Valley help you meet your future goals?
Grand Valley's growing reputation will really have a strong impact on where I'm able to go with my life. I plan to go to medical school and I know we do have a good track record of sending students to medical school and we do have a strong health professions department at Grand Valley.
How has the Honors College enhanced your overall education?
The Honors College has really opened me up to what I'm able to do while I'm here.
How have you benefitted from living in Honors College housing?
Living in Honors housing really allows you to get to know students who are like-minded to you. It's a bit quieter of an environment, which is good for studying, especially in your first year when you're adapting to college life.
Why would you recommend the Honors College to others?
I would recommend the Honors College to others because not only does it look good on a resume, but it also really improves your critical thinking skills and your writing skills.
