What do you like most about teaching at Grand Valley?
There are several things I love about teaching at Grand Valley, but I have to say one of the best things about teaching at Grand Valley is the students. They are very respectful and they make teaching a lot more rewarding.

What is your favorite class to teach?
I love teaching the introductory finance classes because it gives me an opportunity to teach and educate a wider base of students.

What do students like best about your class?
They like the fun, exciting aspect of my class. I make it an interactive environment.

How do you contribute to the success of your students?
As a professor, I want to be there for them, and I want to be available and able to help them as much as I can.

What advice would you give to prospective students?
If you are planning to get an undergraduate in finance or business, then really look into what the Seidman College of Business has to offer. GVSU and the Seidman College of Business are special gems in the Midwest.

What is the most rewarding aspect about teaching at Grand Valley?
The comments and the feedback that I get from my students. I have students from the past emailing and asking me for advice on their careers or sending me an email to check and see how Im doing and thanking me for the class that they had before.
