Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
The fact that it's close to home was a big factor for me, but also I saw how the university was expanding and thought that a growing place was a good place to be.

What do you like best about Grand Valley?
I really like the atmosphere on campus. It's very beautiful, of course, but beyond the physical appearance there's a really welcoming feeling because the people are very open, welcoming, and friendly.

How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
I have developed an understanding of the topics in my general education classes that I didn't expect to get. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed some of them.

How will Grand Valley help you meet your future goals?
Since I'm just starting out, it's important for me to get good advice and have guidance every step of the way. The staff, my professors, and my advisors have really helped me. They've guided me and been very patient.

How has Grand Valley's faculty made a difference in your college experience?
They've been great. I've gotten along so well with all of them, which has really enhanced my experience.

What advice would you give to prospective students?
Going to Grand Valley is much different than high school, and you need to be open to all the new experiences that are available, like all the events that happen around campus.
