Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
I chose to attend Grand Valley because I liked the size of the school and the location. I wasnt sure what I wanted to do, but I knew that Grand Valley had lots of good programs to choose from, so I thought that would be a good fit for me.

What was the highlight of your Grand Valley experience?
The highlight of my experience would probably be studying abroad in London as part of the accounting masters program. There were about 16 students and a couple of teachers that went over there.

How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
Going into college, not a lot of people know exactly what they want to do. Having that baseline experience to see a bunch of different types of studies really helps you decide what way you want to go.

How has Grand Valley helped you achieve your goals?
I had a lot of great accounting courses that gave me what I needed to know to both pass the CPA exam and also to start on my career. It has been really beneficial to have that knowledge base because I keep expanding on that as I progress in my career.

What advice would you give to prospective students?
Go to class. When I first started, I didnt always go to class. Obviously, I benefited significantly more once I matured to that level to start paying as close attention as I could. Dont take your time here for granted.
