Plus, Grand Rapids' outstanding entertainment facilities attract national musical and stage performances year-round. Grand Valley operates a free shuttle service between the main campus in Allendale and the downtown Pew Grand Rapids campus, linking students to the entire Grand Rapids transit system. West Michigan Area
Lake Michigan is just 25 minutes west of the main campus. With its exquisite beaches, incredible sunsets, and quaint resort towns, there's something for everyone whether you enjoy the beach, shopping, or just people watching. During the winter months, you may go snowboarding, downhill skiing, or sledding with friends. You can also take advantage of the extensive snowmobile and cross-country ski trails available in West Michigan.
