Master of Education (M.Ed.)

The major function of the graduate program is to create opportunities for professional renewal and development for educators. Graduate programs in education are designed to increase a student's understanding of the learning process and repertoire of methods and skills.

Grand Valley's M.Ed. in special education prepares teachers to work effectively with students in a variety of settings. Candidates learn research-based practices for assessment, design of individualized instructional programs, remedial techniques, and related topics.
