Roses Are Red

Date: February 26, 2013

You are cordially invited to join us for the next installment of the Student Reading Series: "Roses Are Read."

In accordance with the season, "Roses Are Read" is a celebration of all things love and even those things not-so-love. This is your chance to read that poem you've been grievously lamenting over for your Valentine, your favorite story of romance, an enigmatic essay of heartbreak, a passion-filled drama of loathing, and anything in between. After all, love is complicated, and we want to recognize it in all its glorious forms.

Prizes for the top two performances include publication in GVSU’s student publications Running Out of Ink or Cohesion in addition to a top-secret prize for first place.

As always, refreshments will be provided, and even if you're not reading, we'd love for you to come out and support your very talented peers.
Roses Are Read:
Tuesday, NEW DATE Feb. 26, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
