AWRI Newsletter #15: February 2003

AWRI continues to be a newsmaker! Rick Rediske's research on contaminants in Ruddiman Creek garnered several news stories this month, and Janet Vail's efforts in making the Mona Lake watershed the pilot study for USEPA's Lake Michigan Stewardship Assessment Program also received very favorable press coverage. February saw Michael Chu and Carl Ruetz (finally!) move into their new offices in the Lake Michigan Center. Work continues on the new second floor laboratory. We are also starting interviews for a secretary to replace Renee Kemp. As March approaches, we anticipate the second visit of our Science Advisory Board on March 6-7.
