Buoy Drawings

The buoy system consist of 3 main components, 1) a 5 ft diameter surface buoy (2500# buoyancy), 2) a subsurface buoy (100# buoyancy), and 3) an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP).  The subsurface buoy supports most of the water sensors and allow easier retrieval and servicing of sensors.  The surface buoy is tethered to the subsurface buoy and is equipped with the master data logger, battery power, solar panels, and meteorological station.  The ADCP is tethered to the surface buoy.
