Grand Valley State University Women's Center
Women's Community Collaborative
This undergraduate internship program has been designed to provide upper level students with supervised work experience in a community agency that serves women and children. Placements are tailored to match each student's abilities and interests with the needs of the agency. Interns will work 110 hours in the agency.
In addition to the field placement, students are required to meet regularly for class. This class is designed to provide students with a forum to stimulate their work experience within a broader context. Through this program students have the chance to develop skills and confidence with the support of a site supervisor and internship coordinator.
If interested in this unique experience, please contact the Women's Community Collaborative Internship Coordinator, Jo Ann Wassenaar- located in the Women's Center.
