(RAINN) Sexual assault is anything that forces a person to join in unwanted sexual contact or attention. It can happen in any situation, by a stranger or acquaintance. Examples of this include rape, incest, sexual abuse, and stalking. There are a variety of resources available for individuals who have been sexually assaulted.
