As a member of the Women in Science and Engineering living center community you will benefit from the following:

  • An academically supportive living-learning community
  • Upper-class Peer Mentors, Study Table Facilitators and a Resident Assistant who are all science, math or engineering majors at GVSU
  • Study Groups  in Biology, Chemistry, and Math that take place in the Koeze-Weed Residence Hall and are led by experienced science majors.
  • Computer lab with PCs and printers in the Residence Hall
  • Academic Advising in the faculty office in the residence hall
  • WISE Special Group events such as field trips, panel discussions, research talks, and participation as a group in community service events such as Science Olympiad
  • Informal interactions such as  lunches with WISE Faculty and Staff who come from a range of academic careers
