Biography
Steven Peters currently teaches the Art Appreciation classes, but has also taught sculpture, 3-D design, and drawing. His sculptural works have been in numerous exhibitions in the area as well as throughout the mid-west, including ArtPrize 2010 and Grand Havens Artwalk in 2011. Known for his large Ceremonial Spaces constructed out of recycled materials such as steel, wood and brass, he has also explored other forms in ceramic, blown glass, fine metals, print-making and so on. Regional collections and commissions include: The State of Michigan, Kelloggsville Middle School, Lowell High School, Norton Shores, and Spring Lake Library.
