Jewelry and Metalsmithing Alumnus featured in Ornament Magazine

Peter Antor, a 2010 Grand Valley BFA graduate with an emphasis in Jewelry/Metalsmithing was featured in Ornament magazine, Volume 392, 2016 as an Emerging Artist. The four-page spread speaks to the impact of his experience being raised in Grand Rapids, MI, attending GVSU as an undergraduate and receiving his MFA degree in Metals from Edinburg University in Pennsylvania. Peter is currently an Artist-in-Residence at Lill Street in Chicago, Ill.

Antor creates sculptural pieces "combining the spatial and structural qualities of architecture with the intimacy created between jewelry and its wearer". He wants to "encourage the viewer to explore, discover, and question the work."

You can find more information on Antor's work by visiting his website.
