Biography
I am an artist and educator from Chicago. In 2011, I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with an MFA in Metals. Using the vocabulary of surrealism and pop-art, I deconstruct, combine, and repurpose familiar functional objects, creating an uncanny visual language that reimagines what these objects signify. Many of my recent projects are moored in a sense of local history, using objects as portraits of an individual or a community.
