GVSU's VAGTC Seminar on ITAR and Export Control Reforms

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Valley State University’s Van Andel Global Trade Center is hosting an educational seminar about International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and changes with export control lists and regulations.
 
The seminar will cover 11 categories of the United States Munitions List, as well as the new “600 Series” Export Control Classification Numbers. Attendees will receive an easy to navigate guidebook which pulls each of the revised USML categories and new ECCN numbers.

The seminar will be beneficial for those entering into defense contracting and service support. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of ITAR regulations and receive an overview of the essential elements of defense export controls and reforms.
