Summer 2009 - Request for Teachers

 The TRiO Upward Bound Program at Grand Valley State University is in the process of hiring teachers, certified to teach secondary education for the following 2009 summer positions:
 
  • Math
  • Spanish
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Writing
  • Writing/Research
  • Computers
 
These are temporary summer positions subject to the provisions of the University’s Administrative Manual, which apply to all adjunct employees.
 
The summer program located on the GVSU campus in Allendale provides high school students with an environment much like the one they will experience when they are in college. The students will have completed 9th grade prior to attending the summer program, which runs from June 6th to July 9th. You will provide instruction, tutoring and advising to the students as well as evaluate the progress of each student in your class.
