International Trumpet Seminar Solo Competition


The 2015 Trumpet Seminar featured the International Solo Competition


College Division (ages 19-25):

  1. Xeno Model Yamaha Trumpet (MSRP $3,510)
  2. $1,000
  3. $500

High School Division(18 and younger):

  1. Xeno Model Yamaha Trumpet (MSRP $3,510)
  2. $500
  3. $300

Students interested in competing in the solo competition must indicate this on their entrance application and pay an additional $50 fee. This year's competition will be in two rounds. The first round will be on Friday, July 24th and will be held in the Sherman Van Solkema Recital Hall. The final round will be held during the final concert, on Sunday, July 26th.

Competitors must be participants at the seminar, and must register for the competition when registering for the seminar. Past first-place winners may not compete in the same division.
