Costs and Financial Aid

Tuition

Students are charged tuition each semester on the basis of their class level, residency status, and the number of credits they are enrolled in. Tuition rates are set by the Board of Trustees and are available from the Student Accounts Office.

NOTE: Undergraduate tuition rates vary based on class standing. Students are classified as “upper division” upon earning their 55th semester credit.

Financial Aid

The Grand Valley Financial Aid Office can help you determine if you are eligible for assistance with your tuition costs. The office has many options for you such as student loans, scholarships, and grants. Contact our office at (231) 995-1785. 

Scholarships

Payment Options

Grand Valley offers a variety of payment options: credit card, electronic check, cash, or money order. Visit the Student Accounts website for more information on each.

Payments in the form of cash or check can be made in the Traverse City Regional Center during office hours.
