Do I need to register for Transitions?
Yes. Remember, you only need to register if you are a transfer student coming to GVSU this Fall.

Do I need a parking permit? Where do I park?
Parking regulations are enforced when classes begin on the Allendale and Grand Rapids campuses. At the Allendale campus, park in Lots H or K, just across from the Kirkhof Center.

What should I wear?
Casual clothes are fine (your favorite GVSU t-shirt is perfect!). Dress for the weather (usually HOT) and walking around campus.

Will we get to eat?
Light morning refreshments and lunch are provided FREE to Transfer Transitions participants.  Any other meals will be at your own expense. Campus dining centers accept cash, credit cards, or you can purchase dining dollars at www.gvsufood.com

Are there other events happening besides Transfer Transitions?
Laker Days is a series of all kinds of events happening August 20-September 5. Family members are welcome at these events.  Keep visiting www.events.gvsu.edu for the most up-to-date list of fun things to do! If you don't have internet access, call the 2020 Information Desk at 616-331-2020 and they can look up event information for you.
