Transfer Student Orientation & Registration

Now that you have been admitted to Grand Valley State University your next step is to schedule your orientation session where you will sign up for classes. There is a $50 orientation deposit/fee payable when you make your reservation.

Students admitted for winter 2010:

Click here to make your reservation online. (Requires credit or debit card payment and U.S. address.) All others must use mail-in form below.

Click here to complete your reservation by postal mail. Check for openings before making your selections and call 616-331-3796 for more information about mail-in reservations. Mail-in reservations must be received one week prior to the date selected. Your reservation date cannot be guaranteed when using the mail-in form.

Please arrive for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to orientation unless taking the math placement exam which requires your arrival one hour before your orientation. You will receive a confirmation letter in the mail, including math placement information and a campus map showing you where to park and check in.
