Volunteering with Laker Traditions a great way to get involved and be a part of the biggest events and traditions of the school year! Below you will find information on our available positions.
As a Laker Traditions Event Operations volunteer, you will be at the core of making sure our events go off without a hitch. Duties include set-up, tear down, giving directions, running booths, handing out information, and more depending on the tradition. The schedule for this position varies as the traditions occur and you will be able to sign up to help via our OrgSync Portal (more information below).
Serve as an Ambassador for the Laker Traditions team! Through the use of hand outs, conversations, and social media, you can help spread the word about Laker Traditions. We want to raise awareness of this organization and generate buzz about the traditions on campus. As a Street Team member, you will be present at Campus Life Night, most Laker Traditions, some Laker Weekends, and possibly more. Additionally, during events, we may ask that you collect feedback from participants and help promote other upcoming traditions. The time commitment can range from 5 to 10 hours per month, and you are able to get as involved as you would like!
