About The Program
The GVSU College of Education is known for leading-edge programs and supportive, experienced faculty who have strong relationships with West Michigan schools. Our teacher education programs are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the Michigan Department of Education.
With this real-world, experiential program, you’ll enter the teaching field with the skills and confidence you need to be successful. The program at GVSU is designed following a Clinical Model and uses Universal Design for Learning to address the learning needs of all students. All courses in the program will have both academic and clinical components.
