The Tutoring Center seeks to facilitate students' academic gain and to develop self-directed, independent learners.
To accomplish this goal the Tutoring Center provides free tutoring to all Grand Valley State University students in most 100- and 200-level courses. Tutorials are conducted in small group settings.
It also includes a Math Lab, which provides group tutoring for students enrolled in Math 097, 110, 122, 123, 125, 201, and Statistics 215.
Math & Science Student Support (MS)3 is a peer facilitated office which offers support for students in science and mathematics.

Walk-in writing assistance is available through the Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors.
